April 13, 2026 | Kerama Islands Full-Day 3 Dive Tour
Today, we headed out to the Kerama Islands with two guests — one from the UK currently living in Thailand, and another from the US who is visiting friends in Okinawa.
At a turtle point, we were lucky enough to encounter two different species: a green sea turtle and a hawksbill turtle.
On the second dive at a coral reef site, we saw a wide variety of marine life, ranging from tiny clownfish (Nemo!) to whitetip reef sharks.
For the final dive, we enjoyed a drift dive at a site with dramatic underwater topography. The sight of vibrant orange sea goldies dancing above a field of soft corals was truly magical.
We were also thrilled to spot not only more whitetip reef sharks, but also the very rare Japanese wobbegong shark.
And of course, the highlight of the day — a hammerhead shark!
You can encounter them at this site if you’re lucky. I was so focused on alerting our guests that I didn’t manage to take a photo, but it swam just about 3 meters away from us.
We also saw schools of migratory fish such as tuna and fusiliers, making it an absolutely incredible day of diving.
For guided diving in English, leave it to us at TERIYAKI DIVERZ.
We’ll take you to the best dive sites suited to your level.
