First-Time Diving in the Kerama Islands | 40m Visibility & A Perfect Summer Day

Today we welcomed a lovely couple from Switzerland for a full-day diving trip to the Kerama Islands. Although they had very little diving experience, our introductory scuba diving program is designed so that even complete beginners can safely enjoy the underwater world.

Before the tour, guests complete about 30 minutes of PADI eLearning, allowing us to spend more time where it matters most—exploring the ocean.

With brilliant summer sunshine and calm, mirror-like seas continuing day after day, visibility exceeded 40 meters. The colorful coral reefs were glowing beneath the crystal-clear water.

Both of our guests were confident swimmers and quickly became comfortable underwater, making the most of their time in the beautiful waters of Kerama. Throughout the day, we explored vibrant coral reefs around Kuroshima, dramatic underwater topography near Tokashiki Island, and the dazzling white sand bottom off Maejima.

Spending an entire day in a national park surrounded by such pristine nature is a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience.

After the tour, our guests were heading to South Korea. They mentioned they needed an extra bag for all the shopping they had done in Japan, so we dropped them off at a shopping mall before they continued their journey. One of the advantages of diving with us is that we can drop guests off anywhere within Naha City after the tour.

With English-speaking staff available every day, we welcome divers of all experience levels—from first-time beginners to experienced certified divers—so you can join us with confidence.
